On Friday morning I was able to go through the temple. It was such a wonderful experience and I had been waiting for it for a long time now. I have always loved and marveled at the beauty of the Manti Temple and so that is where I chose to go. I am so grateful that my parents, my sisters Lacee and Sessely, and my brother Bridger were all able to come and support me as I went to the temple. Jon and his parents also came, as did my dear friend Emilee. It was so good to see them all there and have their support. I loved going through the temple! It was the best experience of my life so far and I'm especially grateful that Jon was able to be there with me.
Saturday was Christmas eve. I spent most of the afternoon playing Super Mario Brothers Wii with my brothers, Bridger and Brigham. Best. Game. Ever!!! We had so much fun and we laughed so hard at one another when we would make our characters do funny things on the screen.

Jon had to work but when he got off he came down to Orem and we enjoyed a wonderful program put on by my parents and then the whole family sang carols and ate lots of yummy food. Jon and I also decided to spoil one another by letting each other open our gifts on Christmas Eve. We had previously decided to get each other things from our registry or for our apartment since that would be the best way to spend our money right now. I got Jon two matching nightstands for our bedroom, and Jon got me a beautiful coffee table for the Living room. We were so excited about them, we assembled them all that very night! You will see them when we finish unpacking and get everything set up in our apartment and take pictures.
Sunday morning our family got to sing in church. We had been practicing for over a month and we did an awesome job if I do say so myself! The rest of the day was spent opening wonderful presents, eating yummy food, watching Christmas movies, and driving back and forth between our Orem and Riverton families. By the end of the day we were pretty exhausted! But we can't rest yet! There is still a lot to do before the wedding on Friday!!!
