Reception of Awesomeness

Yay! Picture time!! We won't get the wedding pictures back for another 2 weeks, but we have a couple of candids from the temple and we got the pictures back from our reception. My awesome new sister in law was so sweet and took a ton of beautiful pictures at the reception. Then we also took some more pictures of the bungalow now that it is more complete. Enjoy!!

Coming out of the temple. I like to tease Jon about this picture because I look a lot more excited to be married than he did. Ha ha ha.

Our Beautiful wedding cake

Us in the line. Aren't the decorations beautiful?

The Hot Chocolate Bar

Yummy things to put in the hot chocolate

Hey look! A bridal in the background!

What makes a hot chocolate bar even better? Doughnuts!! And they tasted so good!!

The date mailbox. We got a lot of good ideas! Thanks everyone!

The Guest book. We liked that this book had individual envelopes for each guest to put a note in.

Look! Another Bridal!

Then some of my siblings and one of my brothers-in-law preformed this awesome dance. It was so AWESOME!!! This is Jon and I watching them.

This is one of my favorite parts of the dance.

Then of course we all had to hug at the end.

Cutting the cake. Jon didn't think I was going to smash it in his face. Ha ha ha....

Wiping off our faces.

My beautiful bouquet.

Yay, our faces are clean again!

Daddy/Daughter Dance. I love my Dad. :)

Jon dancing with his Mom.

Our first dance as a married couple.

Tossing the bouquet.

Me and my adorable nephew, Britian.

Leaving the Reception.

Someone Oreo-ed our car! (Throwing suspicious glances at Jon's siblings)

We had to take the oreos off the next day because birds were flocking to the car to eat the oreo filling. But here are some pictures in the daylight.

We sent one of our invites to Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Disneyland and they sent us back this postcard! We feel loved. :)

As soon as we got back from our mini honeymoon, we got right to work putting our apartment together and getting settled in. Here is the Living room. We don't have our wedding pictures yet so there are some frames that don't have pictures in them yet, but we put them up anyway just for fun.

We have a lot more books on the bookshelf now than this picture shows so it looks more complete. Hey, who is that handsome guy?

The Entertainment center. Jon is still in the process of putting up a third shelf on the wall so it will be more balanced.

The media shelves. And our BYU-I diplomas and graduations pictures. Oh, and did I mention we got a fish?

This is our fish. He is a male Beta. He is super lazy and likes to hang out at the very bottom of the bowl, hardly moving at all. We still don't have a name for him. Any suggestions?

Our kitchen table and the beautiful flowers that Jon bought for me. Isn't he sweet?

More of the kitchen

One side of the bedroom

The other side of the bedroom

Our cute little bathroom

And I saved the best for last. Did I mention that I have the best family in the world? Because I do. Here is the dance that my siblings did at our reception. It was so good! I love my family! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

  2. Hahah that was adorable. Your family's funny.
As for your fish. I think his name should be..... Sir Partypants. Since he's pretty much a partier. I can tell.

  5. I'm glad you like the pictures! We always name our fish after dictators, and that seems to work pretty well. Maybe you will also have luck with similar naming procedures.

  6. I once had a roommate who had a tank of fish. She let me name one of them. Being the history buff that I am, I named it Abe Lincoln. Coincidentally, he was killed by another fish.
