Oh my goodness, life has gotten busy this month! Working opposite schedules from Jon really stinks. Unfortunately the only time we get together is after I get home from work at 10 pm. We usually go to the gym together, and then go home and talk and rest until bedtime. Sundays and Wednesdays are our favorite days because we both have Sunday off, and I have Wednesday off so we get the evening together. This past Wednesday that worked out great because it was Jon's birthday! We celebrated by going to Texas Roadhouse and ordering delicious steak and ribs (Mmmmmmmmmm!), and by going to see 2 movies: The Avengers, and Dark Shadows.
Then on Sunday we drove up to Riverton to celebrate with Jon's family. For the past few years they have made Jon wear a crown when they have his birthday celebration. He hates wearing it. I think that's why they make him do it--his family finds it hilarious.
His Mom made one of his favorite foods: sausage meatballs. They were delicious! And afterwards we sang happy birthday and ate cake and ice cream and Jon got to open presents!
We finished the evening off by going for a walk near our beautiful Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

Oh that crown...if Jon would just stop having birthdays, he wouldn't have to wear that dang thing! Who took the pretty pictures of the two of you together?
