Towards the beginning of October, Julie's Husband had a conference up in Salt Lake, so Emilee and I went up to SLC to hang out with Julie while she waited for him.

| Britian and Maime have close birthdays, so they shared a cake this year! I love how Maime cuts into it with a knife, and Britian just digs in with his fingers. |

| The Saturday before Halloween, we went up to Gardner Village for the first time. It was crowded and a little pricey, but we enjoyed caramel apples and chocolate pumpkin chip fudge before we headed off to the movies with Jon's Dad. We saw Gravity in 3D. We pretty much rocked those 3D glasses! |

| We didn't dress up for Halloween this year. We just couldn't think of anything that would be as epic as last year's costumes. Plus we didn't really have any plans. But I made homemade rolls for the first time, and we ate warm chicken noodle soup for dinner to go with them. Yum! |
