Jon's Last Week of Summer

Jon is starting school again tomorrow. With working full time and taking 15 credit hours, I doubt Crew and I will get much time with him this fall. He worked a lot this week, but whenever he was home, we tried to take full advantage of our time together!! Here are some pictures from our week:

Visiting with cousins (Laykin)

Shampoo time!

August 29th is my brother, Brigham's, birthday. Since he is on a mission, my parents are sending him a big package which included pictures of each family holding a sign saying what our favorite thing about him was.

More cousin time. Crew and I went to Britian's first soccer practice. This was on the way home with Britian and Kannon.

Later that night we visited the chickens again. Kannon got to hold one.

This is Crew's new favorite sleeping position. On his knees.

Ramen noodles is quickly becoming a favorite!

This is Kaileigh. She is 7 years old and she is pretty much Crew's best friend. She lives across the hall from us and Crew gets so excited when he sees her. She is his favorite of all the neighborhood children, and she loves him right back. School has started back up again so we don't get as much time with her as we used to but Crew still loves her just the same and they still play together when they can!

(This video would have been longer but another mom at the park was trying to talk to me so I cut it short)

Remember how he props up his feet in the stroller? Now it's the swing too.

We went to Nielson's Grove one evening to feed ducks.

Crew's first time going down a slide:

See all that stuff around his mouth? It's dirt.
... from eating this rock.

Still loves fries (thank you Papa for buying them for me!)
It took forever, but Jon and I have been saving up all summer for this bike trailer and we finally got it this weekend! We thought Crew would scream and hate it but he didn't even peep out a single complaint and just sat in it as if he had done it every day since the summer started! He's a natural! I know the summer is almost over, but at least now we have one so we are prepared for next summer and the years after that!

Putting it together with Daddy

We bought him a helmet too, but he HATES it. So we will slowly work on that.

We spent our last evening with Daddy feeding the ducks and laying around in the grass just loving on him.

We will miss our free time with Daddy but are so proud of him and how hard he works to fulfill his goals and support our family!
