It's been a long, cold week and we miss our warm sunshine! I would gladly trade the gloomy clouds and cold for 90 degree weather any day! Crew and I hate feeling all cooped up inside the house. It's lonely and boring. It's going to be a looooong winter! But moving on, here are some pictures from the week:
Crew has been trying a few new foods:
| Raspberries |
| Ramen (this isn't a new food, but a pretty funny picture!) |
| Peas (okay, this one isn't new either) |
| Cooked Carrotts |
| Bananas (okay, this one isn't new either, but he actually likes them now! He didn't before) |
| Snuggling with Daddy before bedtime |
| Probably the only perk of the cooling weather is that Crew got some new clothes! He's so cute in anything he wears though. |
| Whenever I put Crew down and he wants me to hold him, he crawls over to me and sits on my feet. Quite an effective way to get my attention! Ha ha. |
| Pulling on Cappy's foot. Poor Cat. |
| Getting so big! We finally put the front of the crib on. Crew was starting to crawl into bed with us. I honestly wouldn't mind snuggling with him in bed, but I don't want to make the transition harder on him later, which is what that would be doing. |
| Pretty lighting on the mountains one night on an evening walk. I love living near the mountains, but not necessarily near the buildings that block the view... |
| Crew is such a handful at bath time! He is crawling all over the tub and if we didn't watch him like a hawk he would constantly be dunking his head! |
| Playing outside with our neighbor, Niyah. Crew loves friends! |
When we finally got time to spend with Jon this weekend. we went on a long bike ride down State Street and stopped by Scera park where we let Crew swing on the swings and go down the slide several times. He loved it so much he kept wanting to go again and again. I'm pretty sure he went a total of 50 times! We also found a great climbing tree there and I used Jon's bike to help me climb up and Jon took a picture of Crew and I in the tree on his phone (I didn't bring mine!) even though his is just a cheap little flip phone and tonight he was trying to send it to me and it wasn't letting it send it and while trying a few different things he accidentally locked his phone so now I don't have the picture and Jon doesn't have a phone. Ah, good times. But if Jon ever gets his phone fixed, maybe, just maybe, he can figure out a way to send it to me and then I will post it. Here's hoping for warmer weather this week!
