Halloween 2015

I never much cared for Halloween before I got married. But now that I have people to dress up with me, suddenly Halloween is a blast!!! I'm sure I won't have the time or energy or creativity to dress up every year, but it sure is fun when we do! This year we went as Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless from my favorite movie, How to Train Your Dragon! It was a pretty popular movie when it came out, and with good reason! It's so dang cute! But half the people we saw couldn't seem to tell who we were. Oh well.

I thought we did a pretty good job!

On Friday, the 30th, we went to the ward Halloween party. There was a chili cook off and carnival games and a costume parade and picture taking. It was lots of fun! There was even a guy making balloon animals. He made a dragon for Crew that was breathing fire.

On Saturday, Halloween, we went up to Riverton in the afternoon to show off our costumes to Jon's family. Crew had a fun time playing around with Grandma and all her Halloween decorations.

Then that evening we went over to my parents house for their traditional Halloweenie Roast (we roasted hot dogs in their backyard) and for some good old fashioned trick or treating!

Us!
We only took Crew around the block trick or treating and he seemed pretty bored with it. Ha ha. I'm sure he will enjoy it more next year. Especially since he can't even really eat candy yet.

He sure loved sucking on the wrapped candy though!
