Last Friday, January 8, my Dad was able to get the whole family in to see the new Provo City Center Temple! Tours for the public don't officially start until the 15th but since my Dad excavated the old tabernacle and baptismal font right next to the temple, he and his family were allowed to go early and without tickets! LUCKY US!!! We did have to wait in line for a little bit but it was worth it. The kids didn't even mind. Crew did especially well.

The temple was so beautiful. It's a smaller one, but every detail is amazing!! Towards the end they have a bunch of displays up showing the history of the old tabernacle and stuff. It displayed a lot of the things that my Dad excavated. I'm so proud of him and all his hard work! He really is such an amazing man. To anyone who goes to the open house, be sure to check out those displays!

I feel so lucky that we got to go so early and as a family too! It was such a neat experience!
That's super cool that they have an archaeology display! Your dad is so awesome! It must feel nice to have some of his artifacts on display and have his work appreciated like that.
