May Photo Dump

May went by super fast, considering it was super rainy and we couldn't go outside as much as we like to! Here are a few of our favorite pics from the month:

My sister in law had a booth at the Beehive Bazaar this year selling some artwork. We had to take a pic in front of it!

We had this giant bowl of startburst and Crew loved putting his hands in it and feeling them all and then picking up as many as he could and throwing them out.

We started taking him to the library every week because he loves reading so much! He was fascinated with the stained glass window

We also started him on solid foods when he turned 6 months. Oatmeal is his favorite food so far.

We saw a gigantic rainbow one evening. This picture doesn't even begin to do it justice! It was HUGE!!! We wanted to get closer to get a better picture, but it was Crew's bedtime

My sister keeps saying he looks like Piglet so we took this picture for her. She said their cheeks look exactly the same.

My baby brother, Brigham, graduated from Mountain View! The last sibling!! I couldn't make it to the graduation since it was right at Crew's bedtime, but I snuck over and decorated for him instead.

7 Months

This little Prince is 7 months old!!! It seems impossible to believe. I've told the last 3 people that have asked how old he is that he is 6 months, before realizing that he isn't anymore. Time is going so fast, and I haven't really processed that he is actually 7 months old now! It just doesn't seem right. He still loves to read! We go to the library once a week now to get new books for him. He also really likes hearing us make animals sounds (not sure if it is because he is genuinely interested in them, or if it's because he likes hearing us make fools of ourselves). Whenever we are on a walk or in the car and he starts to complain, I just start making animals noises: "The cow says moooooo! The cat says meow, meow!" etc. or singing Old Macdonald had a farm, and he quiets right down and listens intently. He can sit up on his own very well, although he really doesn't like to do it very much. He still prefers to feel someone sitting right behind him. Little stinker. And over the past few weeks he has discovered that if he drops a toy, it is usually picked up for him. So he drops toys left and right! He drops things from the carseat, his high chair, even the stroller. He must think it's hilarious to see us chasing after the toys as quickly as we can before they roll onto the street, but at least Jon and I get a good workout! That's our little smarty pants! 

Picture Perfect at 6...er....7 months

I meant to get pictures of Crew when he turned 6 months, but we put it off a little too long and by the time we actually did it he had just turned 7 months, Oh well. At least that meant he was sitting up on his own for most of the pictures! He loved the attention he was getting from Jon, the photographer and I as we tried to get him to smile. He just ate it up!
