February Photo Dump

I have so much catching up to do on this blog! I started procrastinating again, and weeks turned into months and now I am further behind than ever! I really don't like that! So here we go again. Catching up, and trying to be better! Sorry I won't have that many details in the next few posts as I catch up, but here are the photos from the past few months.

Caught making messes

Don't mind me. Just reading a book and driving my car.

My parent's neighbor goes out of town sometimes and asks us to
take care of their chickens while they are gone. Crew loves it!

Playdate in the snow with my friend Emily and Crew's friend Kyrie

The family that brushes together....

Reorganizing Mamie and Papa's cupboards

Fun on the carousel ride with Daddy

He went through a little phase where he loved hearing
and seeing firetrucks, so we thought this hat was appropriate.

Making chocolate covered strawberries at Mamie and Papa's house. Actually, since he can't have the chocolate,
we just tried giving him the strawberries. He didn't want to try them though.

We had a warmer day so we went outside and explored in the dirt

We had to explore how it tasted too. obviously

Doing dishes with Daddy

Playing in a box with Laykin. She is so sweet with him!

Beautiful Sunset on the way home from the mall

Just a cute baby face!

Missing Daddy and Walking

Same old, same old. Jon is nowhere to be found because he is constantly working or studying or going to class. I stay busy all day budgeting and cleaning and baking and of course, taking care of Crew. He misses his Daddy TERRIBLY. He asks for him multiple times a day. It's so sad. Especially on Tuesdays when Jon works all day long and Crew doesn't get to see him at all that day. But we make do and soak up all the Daddy time we do manage to get.
Crew had a 102 degree fever this past weekend so I stayed home from church with him but by Sunday night he was much better. And he is walking a little bit too! It's so cute to watch his little tottle. He still mostly crawls, but he CAN walk a little. Anyway, here are some cute pics and videos from the past couple weeks:

Lately he has been sleeping with his little bunny at night. I'm not a huge fan of stuffed animals, but this is pretty sweet to me
Exploring the fridge. Yes, our fridge was very empty. At what point to you finally break down and decide you HAVE to go shopping for food to survive?

Visiting Grandma. These two are becoming best buds!

Norman Rockwell Exhibit

Last Friday we met up with Jon's parents and sister to go to the BYU Museum of Art to see the Norman Rockwell Exhibit. First there was a short movie about the life of Norman Rockwell which was very interesting! Crew even stayed pretty quite during it (he sat on Grandma's lap most of the time). Then we went and saw the exhibit. I ran into my sister and brother in law and an old high school friend there too! Small world! Crew got pretty impatient while we waited for the crowds of people to keep walking so we could see each picture, but it was a long wait so I don't really blame him. We had a great time though. I always enjoy looking at art!

Afterwards we went to Wendys and Crew entertained us all with his constant silliness. He especially loved all of the french fries! He is really getting to know his Grandma and Grandpa and I love watching those relationships grow!

January So Far

Normally, the winter goes by so slowly for me, I can hardly stand it! But it seems like this year it's going by a lot quicker. I have been trying to keep busy, cleaning and playing and doing different projects here and there. Let's hope it keeps going by fast! Here are some pictures and videos from the past couple of weeks:

We have lots of pictures and notes on our fridge that we have collected from the neighborhood kids. I finally went through and cleaned it off but had to take a quick picture before I did to remember them.

Crew loves looking at family pictures! Every day we sit down and he pays close attention as I point out and name each family member.

Happened to snap this picture right as Cappy attacked Crew! For no reason! Mean cat.

The sunset and Crew's daily schedule do not agree with one another right now, and I miss going down to the lake and watching the colors of the clouds, but that doesn't mean I can't notice it, even without the pretty view of the lake!

We are outside people! Cold weather can't stop us when we get an urge to get outside!
Some Silliness:

When the toddler is quiet, you know he is up to no good. Apparently he wanted to help us reorganize things under the sink.

Crew loves Uncle Chance!

He knows who the favorite Baxter Superhero is:
