It's a BOY!!!
We had it written down so we couldn't see it during the ultrasound and gave the envelope to Emilee and Julie who went to the store and got the balloons for us. We were so sure it would be a girl, so it was definitely a surprise! The weekend after we found out, we went up to Riverton to share the news with Jon's family. We had ordered a bunch of cupcakes with colored frosting on the inside so you had to take a bite to find out if it was a pink (for a girl) or blue (for a boy).
It kind of sounds like they are booing, but they aren't. They are saying "Yay!" with cupcake in their mouths. The next day at a Memorial Day BBQ, we told my family the same way:
We are still trying to get over the shock of it all, but we are really excited for Baby Boy to join us in November!
That's such a cool idea to have them write it down and put it in an envelope for you. Balloons say it so much better!! :)
