This little Shnookums turned 5 months old on April 2nd. Other than drooling all over the place, he loves music, reading books, going on walks, sucking/gumming his thumb and fists, trying to roll onto his tummy while being changed, taking baths and seeing himself in the mirror. He still doesn't like to be put down very much, and he hates being in his car seat unless someone is sitting next to him. We love his little giggles and the way he tries to stuff his entire fist into his mouth when he gets excited. He just keeps getting cuter and cuter!
The following pictures were all taken by the photographer at my sister's wedding. She was kind enough to share all these pictures with us. Here are a few of my favorites. I am so glad he got a banner picture!
Getting ready to string it up
The second banner all finished!
My handsomes!
We loved showing him off
Siblings of the Bride
Doing our sibling dance
On the dance floor. I love this picture!
Yay!
This picture is so funny because, if you notice Jon and I over on the left, this was about the point during the day when a very sleep deprived Crew decided he had had enough and started screaming and crying. Hence why I held him down low so he wouldn't be screaming for the picture.
Don't let our kiss fool you. Crew was still crying. This is a classic picture of my brothers too!
My sister Jasmine got married to one awesome guy (Nate) in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 6. Instead of having a reception, they just wanted to have a large brunch. I was put in charge of making 2 large banners for decorations. One that read "Wonder of Wonders" and one that read "Miracle of Miracles". Well, long story short, with a 4 month old who doesn't like to be put down (ever), and a husband who works 80 hours a week, it's kind of hard to find time to do anything! Luckily, this amazing man of mine stopped working overtime for a few days to help me get it done. Half of the time he took care of the baby, and, get this, the other half of the time, he helped me craft up the banner! Did I pick a winner or what? I am glad we were able to help out with the wedding though. Plus it gave me an excuse to see my husband more! Win, win!
Jon working on the banner while I held Crew for a nap. Yes, he is using a hot glue gun.
Each letter had it's own banner
Sorry this is sideways, don't know why it uploaded like that
In the end we strung them all together and they looked amazing! I didn't get a picture of the finished product though.
We had a great time celebrating with Jasmine and Nate and we are so excited for Nate to be a part of the family! He's awesome and he fits right in! The luncheon was a huge success and we loved going to the temple. Crew did pretty well for most of the day considering he refused to take a single nap with so much going on. He didn't get fussy until the very end when it was time for pictures! But I must say he did look very handsome all day long!
Cutie! And I made the bow tie all by myself!
And during the luncheon, as part of tradition, all of us siblings preformed a dance! The music cut out right at the climax, but we ended up finishing anyway.
