Memorial Day Weekend

This year for Memorial Day we met Jon's family at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery to visit some family graves. It was my first time seeing the Baxter graves and it was neat to walk around and hear Jon's parents tell stories and explain who these people were.

The next day was Memorial Day. Jon and I had been wanting to go on a hike, and we invited 6 different people to join us, but they all turned us down. So we went, just the two of us, and had a blast! We drove up Provo Canyon to Sundance Resort where we took the ski lift to the top of the mountain and then hiked down to Stewart Falls.

After our lovely hike, we went to my parents house for a little BBQ. Actually, it wasn't so little because we both left feeling so full we were almost sick! All in all, it was a pretty great weekend!
