February Photo Dump

Getting our taxes done during a visit up in Riverton
The weekend after Valentines day, Julie and Michael came up for a little visit. We were going to have dinner at our place on Friday night before Jon and I went to the temple. That morning I went to the BYU Religious Synopsis to watch my brother Bridger present his paper. By the time I got home it was afternoon and I made the mistake of trying to do too much on the same day and with all the cooking dinner and treats, and cleaning and trying to shower and get ready. One thing after another started happening, from burning cookies, to forgetting about the rolls, to this....

And this....
Yep. I sliced my finger with a big 'ol knife.
Luckily, dinner came together pretty nicely in the end. And we really enjoyed spending time with Julie, Michael, Elai, and Emilee! I'm so glad the worst of it happened before everyone came!

Here is the video of my brother presenting his paper. There are a couple of places where it skips a few seconds. My phone was being dumb. But most of it is there. His paper is on the history of  Temples and the endowment. He got the MHA Award and won $300 for it! YAY BRIDGER!

Sleepy parents on a Sunday night.

Sunset at the lake one night. So excited for summer time!
