Little Bookworm

I love, Love, LOVE how much this little boy loves to read! Most days I get up, feed him, dress him, and set him free to roam around and play and he always goes straight to the books. The book basket and the toy box are even right next to each other, and he always goes for the books! He has gotten to the point where he can entertain himself pretty well by just flipping through the pages by himself, but he loves snuggling up with someone and being read to the best.

His toys were blocking the book basket so he crawled into the toy box, sat down on top of the toys, and helped himself to some books.

I'm so proud that he loves to read at such a young age! I hope this love for books never goes away! In other news, here are 3 random, unrelated pictures that I wanted to share (but didn't feel like writing a separate blog post for). Enjoy!

He's so cute no matter how he sleeps!

He crawled into the toy box one morning. All of the sudden he started complaining because he was in an awkward position and didn't know how to get out. I was a mean Mommy and had to take a picture before I helped him. If you look closely you can see his foot almost coming out of the top left corner of the box. He was really stuck!
