We're Married!!!!! ................. and sick.

We're finally married! YAY!!!! Thanks to all our wonderful friends and family who helped make our day so special! We really appreciate all the hard work and time that was sacrificed on our behalf and we love you all! Everything was perfect that day, from the Temple to the reception. Everyone always says that everything tends to go wrong on your wedding day but it all seemed perfect to us! So thank you to everyone who came and helped set up and take down things and for all of their love and support.

Things have been great since the wedding. We had a mini honeymoon in Salt Lake City for a couple days and it was so nice to just be able to spend time together and not have to worry about work or school. Then we came home to our bungalow and opened gifts and cleaned and organized the apartment. There are just a few things left to do, but for the most part, everything looks great! Yesterday we both went back to work. It was weird to be apart from one another all day after we had just been together nonstop for the whole weekend. And then as soon as Jon got home from work he came down with the stomach flu so he is sick in bed now and I am trying to avoid getting that nasty bug! Especially since I am still sick with a cough I got almost a month ago. Blah! So since life has been so crazy the past few days, I only have a couple pictures from my phone to post from the wedding day. More will come soon though!!! Including an awesome video of the coolest dance ever that my siblings did at the reception!!!

Did anyone else notice how beautiful the sunset was on our wedding day? We sure did!

This is the closest I've come to meeting Jon's brother, Matt, who is on his mission right now in the Ukraine. His parents made this awesome cardboard cutout of him for the reception.

More pictures and a video to come soon!!!

  1. Congrats on getting married! Condolences on getting sick... But hey, at least you're married and sick. Everything is better with two of you, right? I love the cardboard cutout of the absent brother! Matthew's brother Stephen has been on his mission in New England since last September, right before Matthew and I started dating, so I've never met him either. I wish we would have had your cool idea though :)
