Our days are pretty much always the same. Jon goes to work. I take care of the baby. He has a pretty set napping and bedtime schedule, it's just what happens between all those that make life interesting. We love to go on walks and we usually always play with the neighborhood kids once a day. If it's a day when Jon isn't working late, we spend the evening before Crew goes to bed with Daddy. We usually try to go somewhere or do something. Anyway, here are some pics from our week:
| Naptime selfie on Monday. Crew will only nap if I rock him to sleep and lay right next to him. |
| These neighborhood kids LOVE Crew. They were taking turns pushing him on the swing and ticking his feet. |
On Tuesday we had a little picnic outside with the kids. I brought out some carrots, bananas, crackers with ham and cheese, and cookies and we sat on a blanket and ate. They loved it and insisted we have a picnic every day! Yeah, I don't think so.
That night we took Crew to the Bean Museum at BYU. There really wasn't too much to see as they had closed down half of the museum for electrical renovations until December, but Crew loved it just the same. I think he's just happy as long as the three of us are together.
Since we didn't spend as much time at the museum as we had anticipated, we stopped over at a small pond on campus that had lots of ducks and turtles and we sat in the grass and just had fun being outside together. My phone died by then or I would have taken a picture. But we want to go back again soon!
On Thursday evening we went over to my parents house and played in their backyard, more specifically, on their trampoline. Crew laughed and smiled so big! I think we found his new favorite activity! I held him tight and bounced with him and he had a blast!
Then Jon held him and he watched me do tricks which he thought were HILARIOUS. He laughed until he couldn't breathe! Ha ha. Such a silly little boy! Here is a video of took of Crew while I am doing a flip:
Friday night Jon had to work late but Crew and I attended the reception of Jon's cousin who got married earlier that day. It was mostly just an excuse to see Grandma and Grandpa who we hadn't see in a while.
Crew loved all the attention he got, both from Jon's family and the other reception guests. He just ate it up! It was too bad Jon couldn't go, but I'm really glad Crew and I got to go!
On Saturday Crew learned a new trick--clicking his tongue! Little smarty pants. He loves doing it all the time now!
