Snapshots from Monday:
| Ha ha poor baby. He's such a good sport. |
We went over to my parents house in the afternoon and Crew just about died of happiness when he found Mamie's new, giant Sesame Street Book!
Later that evening Jon came home and we decided to go feed the ducks at the Botany Pond at BYU again. It looked like storm clouds were gathering but we decided to risk it anyway. We parked a little further away than we realized and it took us quite a while to walk from our car to the pond. On the way, the wind started up really strong and we felt some rain drops. Then there was thunder. By the time we got to the pond we decided that we better go home. Jon ran back to get the car. The wind was so strong that tree branches were breaking and falling down all around Crew and I. I tried to feed the ducks anyway, since we were there. about 2 minutes before Jon came back with the car, the wind suddenly died down, the rain slowed, and the sun came back out! We laughed about it and were able to stick around to feed the ducks even longer.

On Tuesday Jon worked all day and late into the night so it was just Crew and I all day. Not even the neighborhood kids came outside that day so we really got a lot of extra one on one time. We went to the library, the grocery store, and on a long walk around the block. We swung on the swings and played with bubbles and laid in the grass doing nothing. It was a nice day. Also, Crew decided maybe solids aren't all THAT bad. He's been pretty stubborn about eating any kinds of solids. He hates everything we've tried to give him. I finally gave up a couple of weeks ago and decided to take a break for a while. Then today we tried apple sauce. And it was a success!! Let's hope it sticks this time!
Here are some snap shots from Wednesday:

| Mom, I need more toys! |
Later on we went to the mall to look for something for our Halloween Costumes and we stopped by the food court to get some dinner. That's when Crew discovered the magic of fries...
Then we ran to Walmart to do our weekly grocery shopping and I caught a cute video of Jon making Crew laugh on the way home.
Saturday night we went out to dinner at Red Robin with my friend Lacey and her husband whose name is also Jonathan. Luckily he goes by his full name, Jonathan, so there isn't any confusion. We had a good time and I think we are going to need to get together more often! Again, Crew definitely enjoyed the fries there. No picture from the date, but here is a pic I caught of Crew earlier that morning playing with his cars.
Today, Sunday, we set Crew down on the ground during Sunday school in church. He was REALLY trying extra hard to crawl! I snuck in this little video. He's getting so close!!
Later in the evening we drove up to Riverton for a quick visit. We set Crew on the doorstep and rang the doorbell and then Jon and I hid. His family really got a kick out of that. Crew is still getting used to Grandma and Grandpa's house, plus he is still teething and it was getting close to his bedtime, so he was a little clingy, but eventually he got comfortable enough to play ball with Uncle Matt. I think he really likes Matt. And Matt was so sweet to sit and play with him.
And that was our week!
